Located in Miramar, Florida, Kohler Power Systems Latin America serves the needs of its customers in Latin America and the Caribbean for industrial, residential, rental and portable generators. It provides turn-key solutions for every energy need and application.

The company's success has come about through its philosophy that strives for continual product improvement and innovation, along with a local presence  via its wide distribution network. 

Founded in 1966, SDMO Industries, the French-based generator manufacturer was acquired by Kohler in 2005, and started selling its generators under the KOHLER-SDMO brand in 2016, before completing its planned brand transition to KOHLER in 2021, therefore retiring SDMO's brand.
